In our time it is challenging to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” discussions.

Finding anything to chat about that is not heated is challenging.

A brief background:

I am thrilled to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record multiple times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much relish collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Lake County individuals think of plush, figurines or books when they visualize the memorabilia. The collection, however, includes so much more: utensils, necklaces, sunglasses, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many great “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the United Stated and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would enjoy meeting your amazing guests in Lake County.
