In our time it is tough to get away from celebs, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as X has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to chat about that is not contentious is not easy.

A little background:

I am privileged to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record multiple times. My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much appreciate collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Ozaukee County people consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they envision the keepsakes. The collection, however, includes so much more: cookie stamps, jewelry, hats, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many delightful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would relish meeting your amazing people in Ozaukee County.
