These days it is challenging to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” discussions.

A brief background:

I am thrilled to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record multiple times. My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much appreciate collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Eagleville individuals think of stuffed animals, figurines or books when they visualize the memorabilia. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: plates, bracelets, sweaters, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests invitees most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many delightful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would enjoy meeting your amazing guests in Eagleville.
