Nowadays it is hard to get away from celebs, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion.  Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have shattered my own record several times.  My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached in excess of 27,000.  Who knew there were so many things.

I very much enjoy collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”.   Many North Bloomfield people consider stuffies, figurines or books when they visualize the memorabilia.  The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: candy dishes, necklaces, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many delightful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people.  I would relish meeting your amazing people in North Bloomfield.
