A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have shattered my own record multiple times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much love collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”. Many Lake Shangrila people consider stuffies, figurines or books when they visualize the keepsakes. The collection, however, includes so much more: cake plates, jewelry, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would love meeting your amazing guests in Lake Shangrila.
