Nowadays it is tough to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Youtube has really put a cramp on “just having fun” discussions.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is challenging.

A little background:

I am honored to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record several times. My first record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much relish collecting Pooh “items”. Many Lake Wales people consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they envision the keepsakes. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: crockpots, bracelets, shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many wonderful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the United Stated and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would relish meeting your amazing guests in Lake Wales.
