These days it is challenging to get away from celebrities, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as Youtube has really put a cramp on “just having fun” conversations.

A little background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record multiple times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much relish collecting Pooh “items”. Many Riverview individuals think of stuffies, figurines or books when they visualize the memorabilia. The collection, however, includes so much more: bowls, necklaces, sunglasses, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the United Stated and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would love meeting your amazing guests in Riverview.
